James is incredibly passionate about sharing his love of music with his students.  As a student, you will receive a quality musical education that stresses technical growth and development in a firm but encouraging environment. Students receive a solid foundation in music theory in addition to their weekly lessons.  Parents may choose a variety of lesson lengths to meet their scheduling needs and more advanced students or busy professionals may opt to take biweekly lessons.  Past student accomplishments include ratings of "Superior" at OMEA sponsored events as well as placing first and second prize is school and district wide competitions in composition.  James held a "competition" in 2014 in which students auditioned to be part of a radio campaign ad that ran on WNCI I Heart Radio station for one month.  Former students have been featured at length in the Madison Press in addition to receiving a studio scholarship that enabled two students to receive free lessons for an entire year.  If you're interested in beginning your musical journey with James feel free to reach out and contact him to discuss your musical goals.  I welcome all ages, levels, and abilities for harp and welcome beginning/intermediate students in piano.
